Source: Mine on the official community wiki; power requirement table and pollution reference. These are documented wiki values, not measured throughput. Task duration is not units per second; staffing, hauling and active methods affect production. Conflicting source fields are labeled rather than resolved by guessing.
The official FAQ says to select the location of a depleted deposit and press Finish Job before a Landscaper can fill the pit. This removes the scaffolding and allows water to flow where relevant. It is separate from the question of whether a replacement deposit can be reached.

The publisher-hosted wiki now lists 4 Iron and 3 Tools in the construction cost and no external power requirement. The older Fandom Demo record differs. Use the source-qualified reference above rather than mixing those versions into one recipe.
For a placed Mine, check its selected deposit, the road and all work slots. Check power on the downstream Ore Smelter, which processes the mined ore. The Running out of stone thread links the home ship’s stone, iron and tool supply to nearby deposits; that remains a player explanation. Plan a replacement while materials remain and see the softlock checklist if the reserve is already gone.
